CBS Radio - National Sales and Promotions Coordinator

At Kelly Scott Madison I currently help lead daily account client communication for Culver's, Dollywood, Wild Adventures, Amtrak, and Tanger Outlets. In this role, I work integrally with planning, broadcast, finance, and new business. I was promoted from Promotions Coordinator to Account Executive within 10 months, one of my biggest achievement was introducing and implementing a new program to our department in order to better streamline and evaluate RFP's and RFI's.

The Internship: I interned at CBS during the Summer/Fall of 2012. During this time I worked integrally with the marketing and events department. I gained immense experience in working various sizes of events from intimate celebrity meet and greets, to large scale concert experiences. This evidently aided me in understanding the logistical factors of event planning and the immense importance of communication in order to successfully carry out these events.
The Full Time Job: Soon after I graduated Depaul in 2013, I was offered a full-time position at CBS Radio as a Sales Assistant. Here I learned about the integrated capabilities of marketing and sales, while helping a group of fifteen Account Executives and three Sales Managers.
The Promotion: After a year and half as a Sales Assistant, I was promoted to the National department as a Sales and Brand Partnerships Coordinator. My daily routine as coordinator involved; request for proposals, processing insertion orders, campaign recaps, sponsorship activation, client communication and managing oversight of ad campaign execution.






Hired as an independent contractor by companies to promote their services or products as a brand ambassador through promotional events. Main responsibility and goal, to represent the client in a positive light and express the message of the company in a way to engage consumers and make them further understand the products or services.

Modelo Especial: Dia De Los Muertos
The Drum's US Ad of the Week
Worked with Chicago ad agency Upshot as talent for their Modelo beer client. Modelo wanted to show the authentic way to celebrate the Mexican holiday, Dia De Los Muertos, from the traditional face painting, to remembering family members past with an alter adorned with marigolds and loved ones memorabilia. Video was showcased on all of Modelo's social media accounts as part of their Dia de los Muertos campaign.
